ISMAIL GANGAT, OWNER
Physiotherapy combined with Acupuncture is an integrative approach that blends manual physical treatments with Acupuncture techniques to enhance pain relief, reduce inflammation, and improve mobility and overall physical function.
Ismail has worked in various settings throughout the region until opening up his own practice in Cambridge in 2016.
Recognizing the uniqueness of each patient, Ismail likes to choose from a variety of treatment options.
KHADIJHA KASAM, OWNER
Acupuncture is an originally Chinese practice of inserting fine needles through the skin at specific points to cure disease, relieve pain, or promote healing.
Khadijha is a Registered Acupuncturist in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario.
Khadijha was born and raised in Toronto where she developed a keen interest in natural medicine from a young age.
After experiencing the benefits of acupuncture herself, she decided to pursue a career in Chinese Medicine and graduated as an Acupuncturist in 2013.
She continues her post graduate education and has taken further courses in cupping (dry, wet and vacuum), laser therapy, lymphatic drainage, auricular therapy, scalp acupuncture, balance method and blood letting.
Her passion is to enrich the lives of others through her work. She has a special interest in treating women’s health issues and pain.
Khadijha enjoys educating patients to help empower them to better manage their own health.
YAGDUTT SHARMA
Physiotherapy is a therapy used to preserve, enhance, or restore movement and physical function impaired or threatened by disease, injury, or disability through therapeutic exercise, physical modalities, assistive devices, and patient education.
Yagdutt graduated from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) With a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (2005-2010) degree and started practicing in Delhi, India. He has a keen interest in treating sports injuries, injury prevention, and performance enhancement. Based on his passion for sports he pursued a Master of Physiotherapy in Sports Rehabilitation (2011-2013) from Indian Spinal Injuries Centre(GGSIPU), Delhi. Yagdutt completed his Master in Clinical Sciences in Manipulative Therapy from Western University in 2020 and became an FCAMPT therapist. Yagdutt has done Fellowship in Spinal rehabilitation in 2013 and has received additional training in Mckenzie therapy, Functional Dry Needling, Integrative Acupuncture, SFMA, and Taping. During his free time, he likes to practice martial arts, go running, swimming, hiking and traveling to explore nature.
PRISCILA L. CAVALCANTI
Osteopathy is a practice that looks at the way the body functions as a whole, rather than separate parts or symptoms. It’s based on the philosophy that the body has an innate ability to heal itself when its components are in balance. Treatment targets the body’s musculoskeletal, nervous, circulatory, and lymphatic systems through the manipulation and massage of the bones, joints, and muscles.
Priscila Lacerda Cavalcanti is a dedicated healthcare professional with a rich background in manual therapy and movement. With over 11 years of experience, she has honed her skills as a Registered Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (O.M.P.) alongside a Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy (Brazil) and certifications in the Pilates Instructor field.
Priscila’s unwavering enthusiasm for the dynamics of movement and her profound understanding of the human body distinguish her within her profession. Her guiding principle centers on the fusion of the mental, physical, and spiritual aspects to facilitate healing and achieve genuine equilibrium. Having initially earned her bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in Brazil, Priscila committed an additional five years to expand her expertise. So, she pursued certifications in Structural Osteopathy, Posturology, Visceral and Cranial Sacral Therapy, and Informative Osteopathy based on New German medicine, ultimately becoming a certified O.M.P.
Priscila’s dedication extends to a diverse range of certifications, including Pilates instruction, Kinesio taping, Cupping, Lymphatic Drainage, Dry needling, and Reiki, among others. As a therapist with global training, she recognizes the importance of dual licensure and is currently dedicated to attaining her status as a Registered Physiotherapist in Canada, solidifying her
expertise and ability to serve patients in multiple capacities.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Priscila is a devoted single mother to two young daughters, Lunna and Valentina. She adeptly balances her personal and professional lives, providing
exceptional care for her patients while nurturing her family.
Dr. AMANI EL SAWAF
Naturopathy is a system of treatment that emphasizes the use of natural medicines, dietary counseling and lifestyle changes to treat existing health conditions and improve health. Naturopathy combines modern and traditional treatment methods.
Dr. El Sawaf is a licensed naturopathic doctor, board-certified from the College of Naturopaths in Ontario. Dr. El Sawaf completed conventional medical school training in Egypt. She graduated from medical school with an honour degree and joined the rheumatology residency program at Cairo University, Egypt. There, she was trained on diagnosis and management of autoimmune diseases and arthritis using chemotherapy, biological treatment and rehabilitation care. Dr. El Sawaf went on to obtain her master’s and doctorate degree in rheumatology, and was promoted to a professor of rheumatology before leaving Cairo University.
Dr. El Sawaf has practiced rheumatology for over 20 years, during which she published 27 scientific research articles in recognized medical journals, including Lancet and BJR.
Dr. El Sawaf has since devoted her time and efforts to studying naturopathic medicine to help people support their physical, mental and emotional health. She graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2019. By having both allopathic and naturopathic medicine knowledge, Dr. El Sawaf has found she is better able to help patients with their health concerns. Dr. El Sawaf is interested in other areas of naturopathic medical care that include but are not limited to women’s health, rheumatology, and autoimmune disorders.

MARA DODIG
Registered Massage Therapy employs hands-on methods targeting the body’s soft tissue, like muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, and other connective structures to promote pain relief and improve overall well-being.
Mara graduated from the highly recognized and respected Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy. She received training in Swedish Massage, as well as Advanced Techniques such as Trigger Point Therapy, Fascial Techniques, and Remedial Exercise. In addition, Mara is certified in Myotracing Massage, Hot Stone Massage and Reiki 2nd Degree. Myotracing Massage is a non-aggressive form of treatment that allows her to achieve deep, lasting results using light to moderate pressure. This enhances the relaxation effect on the body.
Her treatments are always geared toward the patient’s needs. She encourages feedback in regard to comfort, pain tolerance and depth of pressure preferred during the massage. If there are any questions that you have as a client, they will be answered to ensure that you feel educated.

MARIOS SAVVAS-STAVROU

The main conditions he treats are Headaches/Migraines, Dizziness, Concussions, Sciatica and Fibromyalgia. Marios enjoys focusing on tight fascia and muscle along the spine thus relieving any local pain or referral patterns in the extremities. He is currently learning Matrix Repatterning (2023) which is a gentle manual therapy that releases restrictions at the molecular level.
